An Irish Traffic Jam

It was a beautiful day for touring the Irish countryside. The sun peeked out from behind the clouds off and on, keeping the day bright and comfortable. During the summertime, driving Irish roads can be maniacal but the traffic today was meager and the roads were clear. After a hike in the hills near Dursey Island, we headed home; a soft rain began to fall. On the road from Allihies to Castletownbere we were stopped by a rather large traffic jam. A vigilant sheepdog and a few beeps from a Land Rover cleared the way in no time.
